KEEP OF KALESSIN Takes Over EXTOL's Slot At Norway's BY:LARM Festival

Norwegian black metallers KEEP OF KALESSIN will take over EXTOL's spot at the upcoming by:Larm festival, to take place February 8-10 at Öst in Trondheim, Norway. They will play the main stage at 20:30 on Thursday and Nautilus stage at 23:00 on Friday.

by:Larm is Scandinavia's largest music conference. Every year it moves from one Norwegian city to another. by:Larm consists of two parts: a festival and a conference. The conference is a meeting place for the Norwegian and foreign music industries. A series of lectures, seminars and debates are held during the day. The festival concerts take place at night and are open to the public. Their main focus is to present artists that are on the verge of success, either in their homelands or internationally.

KEEP OF KALESSIN recently cancelled its previously announced appearance at Germany's Summer Breeze festival (set to take place August 16-18, 2007 in Dinkelsbühl) due to circumstances beyond their control, according to a posting on the group's official web site.

KEEP OF KALESSIN will team up with MARDUK, ENSLAVED, MELECHESH, GOATWHORE and PANTHEON I for The Excess of Evil European tour beginning in early May.

A video clip of KEEP OF KALESSIN performing the song "Come Damnation" on September 26, 2006 in Paris, France has been posted online at this location (Windows Media).

KEEP OF KALESSIN features in its ranks Obsidian C. (a.k.a. Arnt Grønbech). The band performed a one-time, unique show with the duo MONOLITHIC on September 1 at the Trondheim Jazzfestival. The performance was previously described as "a concert where extreme metal meets jazz at an insanely high tempo."

KEEP OF KALESSIN's latest album, "Armada", entered the Norwegian national album chart at position No. 20 upon its release last year.
